Rogue River Sports, Inc.: We were incorporated in 1998 to develop and license products for the outdoor and sporting good markets. The founders of the company love being outside and still relish opportunities when we can participate in three sports in a single day. This could be a traditional triathlon; or a 5K fun run, volleyball and horseshoes at our company picnic. We are located in Atlanta, Georgia.

While we are located in Atlanta Georgia, we took our company name from the Rogue River in southwest Oregon. Known for its salmon runs, whitewater rafting, and rugged scenery, it was one of the original eight rivers named in the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968.

Waterproof SeatShield: Leveraging our engineering expertise with technical fabrics we developed and patented the Waterproof SeatShield in 1999. Rather than licensing the technology we decided to manufacture, market and sell the product directly.

Made in the USA: We continue to manufacture the Waterproof SeatShield in the United States. Reduced transportation costs and improved quality control allow us to price our product just as competitively as companies which outsource manufacturing to other countries. The decline in the American industrial base, especially in the textile industry, makes it harder for everyone to manufacture in the US, but we think our country is best served by hiring American workers.
